Osmond: “What in hell’s name are you doing, man?? Your name isn’t even Dobby, for crying out loud!”

Butler: “Dobby had to punish himself, sir.”

My second sim for the Sims 2 Challenge, Nul.

Nul is a goddess that reigns over the afterlife, more precisely the half known as The Void, where the souls of the damned reside. Much like the realm she rules over, she is devoid of any feelings. The few humans that call her into the mortal realm are reckless or desperate men, who must be ready to accept a tough bargain: that they give up their soul in exchange for the life of a loved one.

Decided to enter the GOS sim challenge this month. I might make a second sim, but for now, here’s Calla.

Calla is a goddess from a time long forgotten. She was mostly associated with the notion of family, and was often invoked by travellers, warriors and merchants who longed for the comfort and warmth of the home they left behind. As times changed and men chose to no longer bow down to gods, temples were demolished and followers lost. Most deities became angry and spiteful, and decided to turn their backs on the mortals they once protected. Calla, however, was one of the few who decided that, while they were no longer worshipped, they were still needed. To this day, she still watches over her people, like a patient mother over a temperamental child.

I know I’ve been rather absent lately, but in my defence, having 4 sets of exams per year will do that. So instead of pictures of new sims, you get some bodyshop pictures of old sims! *dodges rotten tomato*

Seriously though, this is one of my favourite sims, and this she was modelled off this picture that popped up on my dash sometime in December 2012. The resemblance isn’t perfect, obviously, but I fell in love with the result nevertheless.
