Okay, so I just saw that I got tagged by aweeshie for the desktop meme about a week ago. I’ve already done the meme and haven’t changed my desktop since, but I loved the pics of tulips you had as your wallpaper, so I figured I’d post some pretty pictures of tulips instead 😀

I took these back in April/May and they’re oversaturated as hell, ‘cause I’m still not used to my camera, but I still like how they came out.

What sim world would you live in if you could?
Umm… Monte Vista or Sunlit Tides, I guess.

What was the last book you read?
“The Brothers Karamazov”. Considering all the good stuff I’d heard about Dostoyevsky, it was actually quite disappointing. To each their own, I guess.

What is you favorite TV series to watch right now?
I didn’t have a lot of time for that lately. Does Q.I. count? M.A.S.H.? I know, I’m lame 😦 *hides under blanket* 

Do you have a favorite decorating style?
In the sims: grunge. I have no idea why, I just keep coming back to it. I have sim families with hundreds of thousands of simoleons in their account living in absolute hovels. In real life: art nouveau.

What is a pet peeve of yours?
People looking at my laptop screen uninvited while I’m doing literally anything on it. Even if it’s nothing important or particularly private. They tend to ask questions too 😡

What really annoys you most about your current sim game?
I have a bunch of geneticised skins in my game that I’m kind of bored of. I can’t delete them ‘cause a bunch of playables and townies already spawned with them, and fixing everyone’s genetics takes forever. I have to wait for the neighbourhood to become to buggy/boring to play.

What season is it where you live?
Autumn. It’s still pretty warm though, so no complaints here.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
And not get sick of it? Honestly, nothing. I have foods I love, but still refuse to eat more than once a month.

What do you like to do on a rainy day?
Sleep? Sleep. Or waste time on my laptop.

If you could choose any era to live in, what would it be?
I’m going to be boring and say “there’s no time like the present”. Because the internet is cool. And so is not dying of smallpox.

1) I just went to see the secretary at my university for some paperwork, and I heard some music from TS2 playing in the hallway (this song. Yes, with simlish lyrics)! They used it as background music for some slideshow with pictures of students during labs and lectures :))

2) I saw two wild hedgehogs two nights ago! One of them sniffed my foot ❤

3) My favourite month of the year is May.

4) When I was a kid, I never felt hungry. My parents still made sure I ate 3 meals a day, but since I never saw the point in eating, it could take me up to 3 hours just to finish lunch.

5) When I’ll be living in a house with a proper oven (soon, hopefully), I want to become really good at cooking deserts. For now, I make some pretty good pancakes and an awesome tiramisu 😀

Eep, thank you! These little things always brighten up my day! ❤ 

1) I usually don’t wear make-up, but I have curious fondness for nail polish and own about 50-60 bottles. Most of them are back at my parents’ house (and are being sorely missed), but I have about 10 or so bottles with me.

2) My favourite kind of jam is made from black cherries. I’ve received two jars of jam from my parents and am currently stuffing my face with delicious bitter-sweet goodness.

3) I love films, and I was considering starting a thread on GOS about older / lesser-known movies, maybe to exchange opinions or recommendations and such. But most of the films I’ve seen lately that I would recommend are hard to acquire. Unless… ARR 😉

4) I own two stuffed toy rats that look pretty realistic. I love them, but they freak out my room-mates.

5) My birthday was on the 24th! Yey!

😦 I’m not sending the thing though (boo! hiss!) ‘cause I’m an awful person who is scared of people.

1 – Whats your favourite CC Style? Maxis match or realistic, for exampe.

For TS2, definitely semi-realistic, though I love seeing pictures from people who play Maxis-match 🙂 For TS3 it’s the other way around, for some reason.

2 – Favourite ever Sims installment from every single game?

TS2, so far. I liked TS3’s gameplay a lot more, but it’s so finicky, with the constant updates and the lag and random crashes…

3 – Favourite book quote?

“Fate and temperament are two words for one and the same concept.”

4 – Favourite decade?

I’m gonna be lame and say this one. Because technology is awesome 😀 From communications to medicine to space exploration to understanding the origins of the universe, our knowledge and abilities are expanding beyond our wildest dreams! *nerd*

5 – Do you play any sim challenges? If yes, whats your favourite? If no, what ones do you like the look of?

I play most families as legacies. I also try to let my sims decide their own fate (they don’t go to Uni / get engaged / marry / get a job / go on Vacation / get promotions unless they roll the want, don’t flirt / kiss / have babies / gain skills / gain friends unless they want to or autonomously initiate it). I’ve had sims starve to death because of this. I’m not sorry.

Asylums and Apocalypse challenges look fun (thank gonewodwo and fraulinefive for that last one).

6 – Do you watch a lot of youtube? If yes, what are your favourite channels/things to watch?

Lots, yes. Lately it’s been British shows like “The Big Fat Quiz” and “8 out of 10 cats”, LP’s by Two Best Friends (TheSw1tcher) and “Let’s Drown Out”’s by Yahtzee Croshaw (because hearing friends banter back and forth while playing video games is fun 😀 ).

7 – Your most hoarded type of CC?

Haaaaaaiirssss. Can’t get enough of them. Must have hairs. All the hairs. Also semi-realistic skins.

8 – What’s your favourite neighborhood from any Sims game?

Aw… I don’t really play premades anymore. I had a lot of fun in Pleasantview when I first started playing, though.

9 – What are some of your favourite tv shows/movies?

TV shows: Black Books, Q.I., M.A.S.H., Daria, Whose Like is it Anyway (the US series, haven’t seen the UK ones) I also liked watching Mad Men and the Walking Dead, but I’ve fallen behind a bit. 

Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Lives of Others, Kontroll, Waking Life. And, on a lighter note, the Road to El Dorado 😀

10 – Whats your opinion on onesies?

They look comfy and fun 😀

11 – If you had to have any set of characters made into premades for the sims, who would it be? (Could be from fiction or reality)

I dunno… I rarely play premades anyway. Maybe from some silly overly popular book or film, like 50 Shades of Grey, so I can either torture them or play them and make them more fun than the originals.
