hey! i love your sims, they are so pretty and I was wondering if you could give me some tips of how to make a celeb sim? recently I had been trying to create G-Dragon from BigBang and even after 3 tries I managed to fail completely, also please let me know if you have some good cc for creating asian sims? tysm!

Hello! Thanks for the kind words šŸ™‚ I was going to answer this in one post at first, but then decided to split it in half to make everything easier to read.Ā 

About the asian sim CC, honestly, I donā€™t have a lot of experience with that, so Iā€™m not the best person to ask. Off the top of my head, though?Ā 

  • Sims Cave ā€œAsian Sites Stuffā€ board is awesome, theyā€™ve reuploaded a bunch of CC made by asian creators, including clothing, makeup, genetics etc.Ā 
  • 0201-sims/damaskwallpaper/Cassis has some rad stuff on her tumblr.Ā 
  • Digital Angels also has a lot of awesome stuff that I think fits the description.Ā 
  • Ephemera/teru_k had a lot of nice CC, some of their sets were super hard to find.Ā 
  • Sims2Heaven had some nice stuff, I went on a download binge there back in the day.

Iā€™m absolutely sure thereā€™s other awesome asian TS2 CC makers out there, but Iā€™m honestly not that familiar with them.Ā 

As for what CC I use when I make asian looking sims, I honestly just focus on getting their features right. I also use monolid eyeshadows on them if necessary – sets like Lilithā€™s (1, 2), Nabilaā€™s, Digital Angelsā€™, Maaronā€™s,Ā Ioā€™s, Cyranocratical/ergo-cynā€™s (1, 2) and Cassisā€™.Ā Ā 
Soā€¦ yeah. I hope this helps at least a little! Tips about making sims using pictures of real people as reference will be a separate post because those will take a while.

Yay! I really hope you like it! It holds a special place in my heart because seeing it on TV back in 2004 got me interested in movies in the first place.

As far as the retextures are concerned, sure, Iā€™ll do my best! Just so you know, MrsMā€™Quve recently retextured Simpliciaty Venus with Ioā€™s textures. You should definitely check her blog out as well šŸ™‚Ā 

Unfortunately, I donā€™t know how to lower polycounts on meshes. Maybe you could try posting a request on GOS in the Wishing Tree section? There are many talented creators who know how to work with hair meshes, sadly I am not one of them.
