Most times, Maxis wrote interesting and witty descriptions for every little thing in the game. And then there’s this.

I made over Marla Biggs from Academie Le Tour. I think she’s growing on me.

Venice, my darling Pleasure sim, goes Downtown. She has the 50 first dates LTW, and rolls the want to ask a couple of townies on dates. To my surprise, one of them, despite both hardly knowing my sim and being very much straight, accepts.

Venice: Dude, if you’re not into ladies, why did you even say yes?

Townie: I was hungry. Thanks for dinner, BTW.

Venice: Eh… don’t mention it. Believe it or not, this isn’t even the worst random date I’ve ever been on.

They order food and some jerk immediately grabs Venice’s food and runs off with it.

Jerk: I’ll just take this off your hands.

Venice: Excuse me? Are you seriously stealing my hamburger?

Jerk: Mm-hmm. Also, I’m going to let you take a whiff of it beforehand, so you’ll know perfectly well what you’ll be missing out on. Here, sniff it. Sniff it as I stare at that incredibly hot redhead that’s just passing by.

Venice: …You’re right, she is pretty hot.

Thank you very much, but I’ve already searched there and the Flickr account. I was trying to find the link for a WCIF I got about an eye set. It took a bit of searching, but I managed to find it, and got nostalgic in the process.

Going through the forum posts of a long-inactive member to search for a particular download link feels a bit like going to the now-abandoned house of someone you vaguely knew to search their kitchen cabinets for some delicious candy they shared with you 5 years ago.

A swatch of all the recolours. I wasn’t sure about the ombre hair, so I just made two. They look similar, but there are subtle differences. Trust me on this one.

I’m working on some dip-dye recolours for Newsea’s Windy City. There’s that damn streak in the back, but otherwise I quite like it. Would anyone be interested in these? If so, do you have any suggestions for colour combinations?
