answered your question “Guess what I did today? Oh, and a WCIF…”People already mentioned Pooklet’s and Jessi’s, so here are a few others: http://www.digitalperversion.net/gardenofshadows/index.php?topic=27238.0 by Trapping

answered your question “Guess what I did today? Oh, and a WCIF…”There’s Pooklet’s Less Pop Concert, More Butchery skins, and I think Jessi (jessi-dot.dreamwidth.org) did some.

answered your question “Guess what I did today? Oh, and a WCIF…”I used to use these before I went Maxis-match: http://jessi-dot.dreamwidth.org/1682.html. I can’t remember what the nipples look like though.
You folks are awesome! 😀 Thanks so much. I did have those Pooklet ones at one time, but I think I decided that the freckles were a little too dense, so on the install on this computer I didn’t put them in. The ones by Trapping and Jessi look promising, though! 🙂 Thanks much!
Another question, though: What happens if I remove custom skintones that a Sim is using? I imagine it borks the genetics, but I’m not overly fussed about that. Do they just revert to a default skin, or is it much borkier than that? I’d like to get rid of some skins I have that I’m not really jazzed about, but I’m never going to be in a place where I want to go through all my Sims in all my neighborhoods to figure out whether or not they’re in use somewhere by someone. I’ll just yank them if it doesn’t make everything all screwed up. So…Anyone know?
If I recall correctly, it reverts to S2.
Ooogh, really? Ah, that might not be so good, then. Less disastrous than I was imagining, but still not good…
So maybe I’ll just go into those skins and adjust their genetic values (since I have everything geneticized) such that they’ll be pretty much impossible to inherit. That way, they’ll “die out” eventually, and if I ever stop playing all my current neighborhoods I can delete them then. It might mess up how some affected offspring look down the line, but since I’ve got skin sets with geneticizing all over the place (I really need to make them uniform!), it’s kind of like that already anyway. I guess it’s a good thing I’m not real fussy about that sort of thing. And I guess this is the price I pay for geneticizing everything. 🙂
Thanks for the info!
I just wanted to add a couple more download links for freckled skins that I happened to remember: a set by Jessy and two skins by Whysim.
Also, since I’m having the same problem with wanting to delete geneticised skins, I was wondering: can skintones be passed on as recessive genes (like eyes or hair colour) or does the game just randomly pick a skintone with a genetic value between the parents’, completely disregarding the grandparents’ genetics?
